Heard Mr.M.Solaisamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the fourth respondent to hand over the petitioner the key and other receptacles of the temple viz., Arulmigu Kaliyamman Thirukovil, Chinna Vallikkulam, Villipathiri Post, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering his representation dated 07.10.2024

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had made a representation to the respondents dated 07.10.2024 seeking to comply with the order made by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.10216 of 2024 and 2/5

also the proceedings of the second respondent dated 30.07.2024. The petitioner had also filed the copy of the acknowledgment evidencing receipt of such representation by the fourth respondent. In the earlier round of litigation, the respondents have agreed to comply with the direction of this Court dated 26.04.2024 and also the proceedings of the second respondent dated 30.07.2024. Till now, no steps have been taken by the respondents.

4. Considering the fact that the representation of the petitioner is still not been disposed of by the fourth respondent, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
