PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2024 and to take necessary action for removal of the encroachments put up by the 5th respondent in the Street which is situated in S.No.1222/1, Nadayaneri Village, Erichanatham revenue village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: "To issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2024 and to take necessary action for removal of the encroachments put up by the 5th respondent in the Street which is situated in S.No.1222/1, Nadayaneri Village, Erichanatham revenue village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court."

2. Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4, would submit that the land has been surveyed and the fact that the 5th respondent has encroached upon, has been confirmed. He would also state that appropriate proceedings will be lodged.

3. Recording the statement, the writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to seek reopening, if the proceedings are not taken within a period of three (3) months from now. No costs.
