ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A6, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police 1/3

for the offences punishable under Sections 328 of IPC r/w.Section 77 of Juvenile Justice(Care and Protection of Children) and 24(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 in Crime No.93 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 615kgs of banned tobacco products, hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence he seeks anticipatory to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that petitioner herein along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 615kgs of banned tobacco products and to previous cases are pending against the petitioner, hence he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner and also the quantity of contraband involved in this case this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
