O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation from the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent and direct the third respondent to investigate the case and file a final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18185 of 2019 Court is that inspite of lapse of 4 years, there is no progress in the investigation. Noting that the matter is involving public money, this Court repeatedly gave a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report. At the request that has been made by the respondent police, matter was periodically adjourned.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the final report is made ready and that will be presented before the concerned Court at any point of time.

4.Since final report has been made ready, there is a direction to the respondent police to file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after completing formalities. Compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Allowed.
