PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to ensure burial ground and ingress and egress to reach burial ground for the community people belongs to schedule caste and schedule tribes in K.Paaraipatti Village, Kinimangalam Village, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2024 within time limit a prescribed by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] Shri P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, states that the representation dated 09th September, 2024, that is referred to in the petition, is addressed to respondent No.2, whereas, it is respondent No.1, who has to take a decision.

2. Respondent No.2 is directed to forward a copy of the said representation to respondent No.1, who shall take further steps in accordance with law to decide whether petitioner's request can be granted. Naturally, considering the nature of request sought by petitioner, respondent No.1 may have to invite objections / views from the public, which he may do. We make no observation thereon.
