O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in respect of the land in S.Nos.321/1, 318 old S.No.112/3 to an extent of 3.5 cents and 7.5 cents respectively at Padikasuvaithanpatti Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made a representation dated 10.11.2020, to the respondents seeking patta in respect of the propery in S.Nos.321/1, 318 old S.No.112/3 to an extent of 3.5 cents and 7.5 cents respectively at Padikasuvaithanpatti Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The first respondent has sent a memo to the third respondent on 05.01.2021, for taking appropriate 2/5

action to issue patta, based upon the petitioner's representation, dated 10.11.2020. But till date the same was not considered by the third respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020 and pass appropriate orders, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
