ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.10.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner earlier, enquiry was conducted in current paper and the same was closed and subsequently the petitioner has given the very same complaint before the first respondent and the same was forwarded to the Inspector of Police, Abiramam Police Station and is pending in current paper.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent has been supporting the fourth respondent. 2/4

4. Considering the allegations levelled against the third respondent, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
