PRAYER : FOR BAIL IN CRIME NO.137 OF 2019 ON THE FILE OF THE RESPONDENT POLICE ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A.9, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.08.2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c), 20(b)(ii)(c), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.137 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police, after completing the investigation, filed final report before the learned Principal Special Judge for EC and NDPS Act cases, Madurai, and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.97 of 2020. He would further submit that earlier, this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.19372 of 2021, vide order, dated 08.12.2021, directed the trial Court to dispose of the case, within a period of six months, from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and now, that the case was posted on 30.12.2022 for examination of Investigating Officer. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD) No.20976 of 2022 3.Recording the said submission, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.97 of 2020 and dispose of the same, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
