When the case is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the petitioner has stood as a surety to her husband, who is the accused in Cr.No.863 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police. He would further submit subsequently, investigation has been completed and the case has been taken on trial as S.S.C.No.34 of 2020 on the file of the Special Court for POCSCO Act Cases, Thanjavur. The husband of the petitioner has absconded and thereby, surety action has been initiated by the trial Court and other than that, the respondent has not taken any steps to arrest the Petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2.Taking into consideration of the fact that there is no apprehension of arrest, this petition is closed and the petitioner

is directed to appear before the respondent Police for enquiry alone on receipt of summons.
