O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a former salesman in the TASMAC shop, seeking a mandamus for reinstatement.

2. The petitioner herein, while he was working as a salesman in the TASMAC shop was convicted by a Criminal Court by an order dated 19.11.2019. Based upon the said conviction order, the petitioner was dismissed from service on 03.02.2021. The petitioner had filed an appeal before this Court and this Court passed an order dated 03.02.2023, and acquitted the writ petitioner. Based upon the said acquittal order, the petitioner has sent a representations on 14.02.2023, 22.02.2023, 13.04.2023 & 10.05.2023 seeking reinstatement in service. Since, the said representations have not been considered by the authorities, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2023 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
