This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to release the petitioner's land with an extent of 34 cents in R.Survey Number 191/1B (R.Survey No.191/1B2) situated in Palavathankattalai Block, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District treating the "Palavanthankattalai Detailed Development Plan: 4" as lapsed under Section 38 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that the property disclosed in this writ petition was subject matter of land acquisition but the said land has not been used and hence, it gets lapsed automatically.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the same may be recorded and the writ petition can be closed. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is closed.
