ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the Special Court for trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Thoothukudi (FAC), Thoothukudi District to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Crime No.62 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
