O R D E R

It is stated by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent that an order had been passed on 19.10.2022 by which the representation of the petitioner had been rejected. In the writ petition, the learned Single Judge on appreciating the facts had directed the Competent Authority/fourth respondent to look into the matter of granting temporary electricity connection for construction of a house by the petitioner herein. In the order passed by the respondent on 19.10.2022, it has been stated that grant of temporary electricity connection had been rejected and even the building plan of the petitioner had also been cancelled.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, states that he has now obtained approval.

3. Therefore, the order dated 19.10.2022 passed by the respondent is set aside. The respondent herein is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the petitioner may produce the fresh approval order 2/4

obtained by him before the respondent. Thereafter, the respondent may pass necessary orders on or before 16.06.2023.

4. In view of the said directions, the contempt petition does not survive. Hence, the same is closed.
