O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent Bank to sanction and disburse the educational loan to the petitioner based on his application dated 14.02.2024.

2. Mr.C.Karthik, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank on instructions would submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh application seeking for educational loan as prayed for in this Writ Petition, the same will be considered by the respondent Bank on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh application.

5. No prejudice would be caused to any other parties, if the petitioner is allowed to submit a fresh application seeking for educational loan as prayed for in this Writ Petition and a direction is issued to the respondent Bank to consider 2/4

the same on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh application with the respondent Bank seeking for an educational loan as prayed for in this Writ Petition within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said application, the respondent Bank shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
