PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 4th respondents to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on his representation dated 03.10.2023. For Petitioner : Mr. S.Sankar For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor.

O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 4th respondents to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on his representation dated 03.10.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the civil Court decree, representation is made by the petitioner seeking Police protection for the purpose of measuring the property and the above said representation is pending.

3. The fourth respondent is directed to issue summon to the petitioner as well as the respondents No.5 and 6. Let the above said representation be disposed of on its own merits within a week from the 2/4

date of appearance of the parties. If any trouble arises during the course of enquiry, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction and liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
