ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1and 2 to take appropriate actions against the respondents 5 and 6 for assaulting and verbally abusing the son of the petitioner aged 13 years by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 23.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's son was studying 8th standard in Government Higher Secondary School, Ariyanayakipuram, Tirunelveli District and that the School Headmaster and other teachers by alleging that the petitioner's son had taken the 2/4

amount from a teacher, they have lodged a complaint before the police and that the police, after registering the FIR, have taken the minor boy with them and attacked him.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the school Headmaster, CSR No.491 of 2024 came to be registered and enquiry is pending and that the petitioner's representation is pending before the second respondent.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well the respondents 5 and 6 and take decision with regard to the petitioner's representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 28.10.2024 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No das 3/4
