ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on on 03.09.2023 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 341, 294 1/4

(b),307, 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.266 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 03.09.2023 the accused waylaid the defacto complainant and demanded money from the defacto complainant and when he refused the petitioner abused him in filthy language, attacked him with deadly weapons and thereby attempted to murder him. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is is custody from 03.09.2023, hence he seek bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that 11 previous cases are pending against the petitioner hence, he strongly objected to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5. Considering the facts and circumstances and also taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
