O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents No.3 to cancel the patta issued to the respondents No.4 for petitioner property in Survey No.990/3 for an extent of 0.0096 hectares situated Anakarapatti, Mugavanur South village,Manapparai taluk, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2023 within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel for the 4th respondent.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 20.03.2023 to the 3rd respondent to cancel the patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the 2/5

present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.03.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say, if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
