O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the third respondent herein to cancel the Patta No. 951 issued in favour of the fourth respondent in connection with property comprised in Survey No.149/1 to an extent of 4 Acres 50 cents situated at Keeranur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and restore the same in Patta No.879, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2023.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of by the third respondent, in accordance with law, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a 2/5
direction to the third respondent/ Tahsildar to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any issues pertaining to land disputes, the parties shall approach the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs.
