PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the 4th respondent in the land classified as "Vaikkal Poramboke" in Survey No.66/1 of the Mathur Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District and consequently, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to hand over the land to the 3rd 1/4

respondent to establish a play ground to the welfare of the youngsters of the Mathur and nearby villages.
