ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 2(1,16,35,36),9, 39(1(a,b,d)3), 50, 51, 56, 57 of Wild Life Protection Act (With Amendment 2022), in WLOR No.16 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

Considering the nature of allegation in this case that the petitioner along with the other accused persons are said to have set up a wire fencing on the boundaries of their land and when the bison got electrocuted and died, they clandestinely tried to conceal the evidence by burying the said animal, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.
