Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of 6th respondent dated 23.09.2023, rejecting the petitioner's application No.TNUWWBHS025560 under the housing scheme of Tamilnadu Construction Worker's Welfare Board and quash the same as illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to provide the financial assistance for a sum of Rs.4.5 lakhs (Four Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only) to the petitioner who is the registered member of Tamilnadu Construction Worker's Welfare Board for the construction of concrete house in S.No.125/31 (Old No.124-Part) measuring 1 Cent at Panikkanendal, Ariyanendal Revenue Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar Distirct within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The order impugned in this writ petition had already been modified in favour of the petitioner. A copy of the communication bearing Na.Ka.No.A4/2695/2023, dated 10.10.2023 issued by the Tahsildar, Kariapatti to the fourth respondent has been produced before me. The fourth respondent is directed to process the matter in the light of G.O.(Ms)No.7 Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department dated 10.01.2022. Final order shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
