This Contempt Petition has been filed to call upon the contemnor and punish him for his willful disobedience to the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1169 of 2022 dated 04.02.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Tiruchirappalli has filed a reply stating that Tribunal action has been recommended against the accused 2 to 7 and further action as against the first accused has been dropped and he has also produced the copy of the proceedings of the Vigilance Commission, wherein, Tribunal action was recommended against the accused 2 to 7.
