When the matter was taken up for hearing, the Special Government Pleader brought to my notice that the Tahsildar, Vilathikulam recommended the case of the petitioner and the file is presently pending on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti. The third respondent is directed to pass final order on the recommendatory proposal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2/4

3. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
