PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the sixth respondent to conduct an enquiry and to take suitable action against the 10th respondent and to seize the administration of the Tamil Nadu Drama Actor Association, Madurai District along with Bank Accounts, in accordance with law, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.11.2022.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the sixth respondent to conduct an enquiry and to take suitable action against the 10th respondent and to seize the administration of the Tamil Nadu Drama Actor Association, Madurai District along with Bank Accounts, in accordance with law, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.11.2022. 3/7

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 10th respondent and his associates are continuously disturbed the women actress and also they are threatening to her life and limb. Hence, on 01.11.2022, the petitioner and two others are jointly preferred a representation before the respondents 1 to 6 in person. But they have not taken any steps. Therefore, on 07.11.2022, the petitioner and two others are jointly preferred a representation before the respondents 1, 3 to 6 through post. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard M.R.Udhayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 to 6 and Mr.C.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 7 and 8.

4. Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the sixth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/7

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
