Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to initiate an enquiry with regard to the expulsion / excommunication of the petitioner from the second respondent Association without issuing any show-cause without calling for any explanation from the petitioner and expelling him from the Association in violation to the principles of natural justice and to take action on erring office bearers of the second respondent Association by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] At the outset, counsel for respondent No.2 states that there is no order passed expelling or ex-communicating the petitioner.
2. In view of the statement made, counsel for petitioner states that the petition can be disposed of.
3. At the same time, both Shri.Anantha Padmanabhan and Shri R.Anand request the Court to appoint a Mediator so that the differences between the parties could be resolved amicably.
4. When the Court suggested that Shri.Veera Kathiravan, Senior Advocate and who is the present Additional Advocate General for the Madurai
Bench of Madras High Court, can be appointed as a Mediator, both counsels immediately agreed. Accordingly, Shri.Veera Kathiravan is appointed as a Mediator.
