ORDER

The petitioner, whose application for subdivision and transfer of patta made on 24.09.2024 had not been processed with, is before this Court.

2. The request was made on the basis of a registered sale deed under which the petitioner had purchased the property measuring an extent of 1.65.0 hectares (4 Acres 8 cents) and 0.41.25 hectares (1 Acre 2 cents) in S.No.152A/5, Kulasekaramangalam Village, Ottapidaram Taluk,

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. The petitioner had made an application only on 24.09.2024 and the respondent is bound to issue patta within a period of three months. Even before the period is to get over, the petitioner has rushed to this Court. Though, there is no dereliction of duty on the part of the

respondent, however considering the statutory duty imposed on him, a mandamus is issued to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.09.2024 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
