PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tuticorin, Tuticorin District, to dispose of the case in C.C. Side) O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tuticorin, Tuticorin District, to dispose of the case in 1/4

C.C. No.173/2017 within a specific period.

2.The petitioner is facing trial before the trial Court in C.C.No.173 of 2017 for the offence punishable under 406, 407, 409, 414, 120(B) of IPC, in Crime No. 07 of 199 on the file of the respondent police. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police is ready to co-operate to complete the trial process within the time stipulated by this Court. Totally 22 number of witnesses there. So PW1 to PW3 have been examined.

4.Considering the oldness of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tuticorin, Tuticorin District, to expedite speedy trial process in C.C.No.173 of 2017 pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
