The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2023, wherein the plea that find out the petitioner's original Sale Deed doucment No. 1288/2019 dated 11.03.2019 and handover to the petitioner in hasty manner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent to find out his missing original sale deed document bearing No.1288 of 2019 dated 11.03.2019, which was situated at Chennai.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that even though the representation has been made by the petitioner, later he did not appear before the second respondent and produce the required documents.

5. Considering the submissions made by the both sides, let the petitioner appear before the second respondent and co-operate with him to complete the process of enquiry. The second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of Police and complete it within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if not satisfied.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
