Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings initiated in K1-444-2024 notice dated 12-02-2024 for UDR correction and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within the time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings initiated in K1-444-2024 notice, dated 12-02-2024 for UDR correction.
2. The case of the petitioner is that his father had purchased the subject property and he was in possession and enjoyment of the same. But patta was not mutated in his name. After his father's demise, petitioner, his sister and two brothers were in joint possession and enjoyment of the same. When they gone for partition of the property, it
came to know that patta is standing in the name of the respondents 2 to 4 who have no right or title to the property. Immediately, the petitioner sent a petition to the 1st respondent and the 1st respondent had also initiated proceedings in K1-444-2024 and issued notice to the petitioner, his siblings and the respondents 2 to 9 to appear for enquiry. The petitioner had appeared for the enquiry and produced all the documents showing the name of the vendors of his father before UDR. However, no documents were produced on the side of the respondents 2 to 9. Thereafter, there were no further progress on the side of the 1st respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings in K1-444-2024 and pass orders within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
