17.10.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) of BNS (379 of IPC) r/w. Section 6(4) of TNCSC (RDCS) r/w. 7(1)(a)(ii) of EC Act, in crime No.204 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the other accused had illegally transported the PDS rice and other essential commodities. Hence, the complaint.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

4. Considering the nature of the allegations against the petitioner is that the petitioner and the other accused had illegally transported the PDS rice and other essential commodities and the quantity of the PDS rice and other essential commodities have been recovered, when the occurrence had happened only on 05.10.2024 and the petitioner was arrested only on 17.10.2024 and the investigation is in the initial stage, for the present, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
