ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3

the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(2) IPC and Section 4 TNPHW Act in Crime No.98 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, on 03.08.2023, at about 06.00 pm., when the defacto complainant standing near the house, the petitioner and other accused came there and scolded him in filthy language and also attacked him. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner herein is a history sheeter and 20 previous cases are pending as against him. Therefore, she strongly, objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances and considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to 2/3
