The petitioner herein, who is an employee of the respondent Corporation, is also a member of the Provident Fund maintained by the respondent Corporation. As such, he would be eligible for a non-refundable loan from the Provident Fund account. 2.On account of his proposed marriage of his daughter, which is said to have been fixed on 08.12.2019, the petitioner had made an application on 14.11.2019, seeking for a loan amount of Rs.5,00,000/-. Though the application was received by the respondent Corporation, no effective progress was made in processing the application. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
3.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation submitted that as per the records, the petitioner is entitled for a partial release of the Provident Fund amount to the tune of Rs.4,80,000/-. While that being so, there cannot be any impediment on the part of the respondent to process the petitioner's application and thereby release the amount of Rs.4,80,000/- as sought for. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
