PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent police for the speedy trial in pending S.C. No.125 of 2019 on the file of the learned I Additional Sub Judge, Madurai in Crime No.799 of 2017 on the file of 2nd respondent Police, within the time stipulated by this Court . O RDER The criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police for the speedy trial in pending S.C. No.125 of 2019 on the file of the learned I Additional Sub Judge, Madurai in Crime No.799 of 2017 on the file of 2nd respondent Police, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is facing trial before the trial Court in S.C.No.125 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 452, 341, 324, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.799 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police. The grievance of the petitioner is that because of the pendency of this case from the year 2019, his job is affected.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that due to the pendency of warrant issued against the accused persons 1, 3 and 4, no further proceedings has been undertaken by the trial Court. The respondent is ready to complete the trial process.

4.there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional Sub Judge, Madurai, 2/4

to split up the case against the accused persons, those who are regularly appearing and expedite the trial process and dispose of the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
