ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.10.2024 seeking permission to run a gym in the name of Gorilla within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Ms.K.M.Priscilla Jancy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.S.Vinayak, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner has submitted an online application dated 22.10.2024 with the respondents seeking for issuance of No Objection certificate for running a gym in the name of "Gorilla" at the place mentioned in the petitioner's online application. Since the application has not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions would submit that the respondents are willing to consider the petitioner's application within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's online application dated 22.10.2024 seeking for issuance of No Objection certificate to run a gym in the name of "Gorilla" at the place mentioned in the application within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
