O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.41 of 2014 on the file of the Additional District Court, Sivagangai.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect and in the alternative would seek that a direction may be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial as early as possible.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police would submit that totally there are 18 witnesses in this case and the trial has been commenced in S.C.No.41 of 2014 and the same has been posted on 20.02.2020 for appearance of L.Ws.1 to 5.

4.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this criminal Original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the Additional District Court, Sivagangai, is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.41 of 2014 within a period of Four Months, from 20.02.2020. Consequently, the connected criminal miscellaneous petitions are closed.
