ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner is a wholesale agent for supply of milk to Palani, Vatlagundu & Kodaikanal region for D.D.160, Dindigul District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited. The petitioner's license period expires tomorrow(13.10.2023). The marketing committee has recommended extension of the license period by six months. The general manager however has issued the proceedings that the petitioner will continue as wholesale agent for three more months or till the issuance of the next tender whichever is earlier.

3. The case of the petitioner is that this is not in consonance with the proceedings of the marketing committee. The petitioner has therefore given representation before the second respondent. It is for the second respondent to take a call in the matter. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2023 and pass an appropriate order as expeditiously as possible.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
