This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to direct the third respondent not to interfere with the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the guise of the enquiry and take necessary action against the respondents 4 to 7. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P.(MD).No.18348 of 2019 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 reports that on receipt of the complaint, the respondent police conducted the investigation and registered a case in Crime No. 398 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 147,447,294(A),354, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act as against the petitioner. 5.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
