ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent / Vice President and other Ward Members have not co-operated for the smooth functioning of the Panchayat and therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the District Collector / Inspector of Panchayat for necessary action u/s.204(3) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act. 2.When the writ petition came up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that action has been taken by the District Collector and the cheque signing powers of the Vice President has been taken away and it is now entrusted with the Block Development Officer. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and nothing 2/4

survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the above submission and the endorsement so made, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Index :
