ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection for construct the gate in the property situated in S.No.365/176 to the extent of 218 Sq.ft Muslim Jamath Jumma Masjid Periya Pallivasal Thirupattur - 630211,

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there existed common pathway dispute and the writ petitioner has been attempting to put up gate in the common pathway and that on the basis of the complaint given by the writ petitioner, CSR No.229 of 2024 came to be issued and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed.

4. Even according to the writ petitioner, he has not obtained any 2/4

civil Court decree or order. In the absence of any civil Court decree or order, the question of granting police protection does not arise at all.

5. In the result, the Writ Petition stands dismissed.
