O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli to dispose the case in PRC No. 117 of 2013, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that two of the accused are now detained the prison at Bangalore and that is the reason for delay in trial.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the matter is pending for committal before the Court of Sessions for the past six years.

4. Considering the submissions, direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli to take steps either https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.18702 of 2019 for committal before the Court of Sessions or to split up the case as against the other accused.

5. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
