PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 253 of 2019 on the file of the respondent.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as sole accused. He was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 18.11.2019 for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324, 326 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.253 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.
3. The case of the prosecution is that on 04.08.2019 at about 6.30 p.m, the victim was attacked by the petitioner herein. The petitioner herein threw Acid on the face of the victim. The victim suffered burn injuries on several parts of his body. He had lost vision on one of the eyes.

4. Since this case involves Acid attack, I am of the view that the prosecution must be fast tracked. The learned Government Advocate points out that final report in this case is now ready. The respondent is directed to file final report expeditiously. The jurisdictional Magistrate will take cognizance without any delay. The committal proceedings will also be concluded expeditiously. The learned Principal Sessions Judge shall assign the case or try the case himself and ensure that the entire proceedings are concluded on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter.
5. Since the committal proceedings are yet to be over, I am not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to renew the bail petition after the committal proceedings are over.
6. With these directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
