Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent herein to transfer the separate patta by making sub division in respect of the petitioner's property comprised in R.S.No.253/7B1A having old Patta No.614 and Survey No.183/2 having old patta No.3291 situated at Kadugupatti Village, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's application vide No.2024/0105/15/437492 dated 18.09.2024 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
Pursuant to the purchase of a property on 22.05.2023, the petitioner had made an application to the respondent on 18.09.2024 through online for transfer of the patta by subdividing the property. The said application has not even been scrutinised and an enquiry date fixed. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has moved this writ petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. Considering the above reasons and the fact that an application has been made on 18.09.2024, the application for considering the request for subdividing the property and for grant of patta shall be processed and orders be passed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
