This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.276 of 2018 dated 27.10.2018 on the file of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 327, 427, 506(2) and 307 of IPC, within the stipulated time.

2. According to the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, F.I.R in Crime No.276 of 2018 has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 327, 427, 506(2) and 307 of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed the final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already they completed the investigation and filed the final report and the same is in P.R.C.No.29 of 2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Page No. 2 of 4

Since the prayer of the petitioner is to file the final report and the same was already filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Papanasam in P.R.C.No.29 of 2024, nothing survives for further adjudication.
