Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate steps to change the wrong classification from Government Porampoke to Punjai SF No.26/1D with an extent of 148.88 Acre of Settikadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and grant patta to the petitioner with sub division in the light of the petitioner's registered sale deed dated 16.04.1984 bearing Document No.722/1984 in SF No.26/1D with an extent of 2 Acre 45 cent of Settikadu Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2023. Heard both sides.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that survey documents had been sought for from the writ petitioner. As and when the writ petitioner furnishes the same, appropriate order on merits shall be passed. The details sought for by the respondents is set 2/4
out in the Letter bearing Na.Ka.No.5674/2023/M8 dated 11.07.2023. Copy of the said communication has now been handed over to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. It is for the writ petitioner to make available the document in question. Enquiry shall be held on 07.11.2023 at 03.00 p.m. The fifth respondent is directed to pass final within a period of two months thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the fifth respondent to pass order one way or the other. The fifth respondent shall put on notice to all the interested persons before passing final order.
3. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
