ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the third respondent herein 2/5
to take appropriate action and conduct proper enquiry as against the respondents 4 to 19, in the light of petitioner's representation/complaint, dated 02.10.2024 in accordance with law as per the direction laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalita Kumar Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh, within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint against the fourth respondent alleging bigamy and that the complaint came to be registered in CSR.No.354 of 2024 and since it is a non-cognizable offence, after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law. 28.10.2024 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No das 3/5
