COMMON PRAYER:- Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the Crime Nos.398, 399, 405 and 406 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent herein and quash the same as against the petitioners. For Petitioners : Mr.S.Muniyandi (In all Cases) For R1 : Mr.B.Nambiselvan (In all Cases) Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the FIRs in Crime Nos. 398, 399, 405 and 406 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent herein as against the petitioners.
2.Since the parties and the issues are one and the same in all the cases, these cases are disposed of by way of common order.
3. Today, when the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the issue has been amicably settled in between the parties and hence, this Court may permit the petitioners and the 3/6
defacto complainants to produce the compromise memo before the first respondent police and this Court may also issue a direction to the first respondent Police to close the cases as "Action Dropped".
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that if the parties are produced the compromise memo, the first respondent police is ready to close the cases as "Action dropped" 5.In view of the above, the first respondent Police is directed to close the FIRs in Cr.Nos. 398, 399, 405 and 406 of 2022 of 2015 as "Action Dropped", if the compromise memo is produced by the parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, these criminal original petitions are disposed of.
