PRAYER in HCP(MD) No.1991 of 2022 : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely, Mariyam Benazir W/o.Thawbiq Mohamed D/o.Mohammed Illiyas aged about 29 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. PRAYER in HCP(MD) No.1970 of 2022 : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 to secure and produce the body or person of the detenue/ the petitioner's daughter, namely, Mariyam Benazir W/o.Thowpik Mohammed, aged about 29 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. COMMON ORDER [Common Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] When these Habeas Corpus Petitions were taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the detenu was present before the second respondent and she gave a statement to the effect that she is not willing to go along with her husband, who is the petitioner in H.C.P(MD) No.1991 of 2022 and she expressed her willingness to go along with her father, who is the petitioner in H.C.P(MD) No.1970 of 2022. The said fact was also confirmed by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner in each of the petition.
2. Recording the same, these Habeas Corpus Petitions are closed.
