ORDER

Alleging that the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.15991 of 2021, dated 08.09.2021, has not been complied with, the petitioner has come up before this Court with this Contempt Petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submits that an enquiry notice was served on the petitioner and the respondents through the Village Assistant, directing them to appear for enquiry on 27.12.2021 and 01.02.2022. Accordingly, on 27.12.2021, the petitioner and the respondents namely, Thavittu Nadar @ Thavittu Raja and Periyandavar alone appeared for enquiry and thereafter, on 01.02.2022 the petitioner and the respondents did not appear for enquiry and therefore, the respondent could not proceed further.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Contempt Petition is 2/4

closed, directing the petitioner to approach the respondent and appear for enquiry on the next date of hearing.
