ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 397 of IPC in Crime No.339 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein along with other accused demanded money from the defacto complainant and when he refused they attempted to rob him and also assaulted him with sickle and caused injuries, hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence he seeks anticipatory to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that petitioner herein along with other accused demanded money from the defacto complainant and when he refused they attempted to rob him and also assaulted him with sickle and caused injuries, hence he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. It is reported that the one previous case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.17 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 4(1),5(1)(d)ITP Act, 4,5,6 Child Marriage Restraint Act and 5(l)r/2.6,13 r/w.14(1), 15 of POCSO Act on the file of the Sivakasi All Women Police Station.

6. Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
